There are many great things about Christmas in London, but eating and drinking remain two of our favourites. We have a good selection of food and drink focused events, but we've also team up with TopTable to offer some great deals on London restaurants including 50% off deals.
Christmas Food Events
A Taste of Christmas 2011 - London's ExCeL from 2-4 December 2011. Prepare for the festive season and treat yourself to an extremely indulgent day out at Taste of Christmas. Discover a world of food and drink, where artisan producers display and share their wonderful products.
Fortnum & Mason run a serious of Christmas food events throughout November and December including demonstrations on cooking classic festive food including mince pies and Christmas cake.
Hard Rock Cafe - Breakfast With Santa - Sunday 11th December 2011. The Hard Rock presents a full (we assume massive) American breakfast from 10am. Kids can also visit Santa’s Grotto in Winter Wonderland, and get a special goody bag. Email london_reception@hardrock.com
Christmas Chocolate Festival - 9 December - 11 December 2011. The Chocolate Festival returns to Southbank Centre for its annual Christmas celebration.
We can also recommend Carluccio's for those special Christmas treats - their panettone and chocolate grissini are simply delicious. They are running special 10% evenings in every branch on December 1st and 8th 2011 - with a free glass of wine and canapés. Don't miss out!
Real Food Christmas Market 16th December 2011 - 23rd December 2011 at London's Southbank. Stalls laden with festive treats and ingredients. Stock up your Christmas larder with gourmet goodies and find gifts for your friends at one of London's best Christmas markets.

Christmas Drink Events
The Wine Gang Christmas Fair - Vinopolis, London: Saturday 29th October 2011 - 12 noon - 6.00pm. Buy smarter and drink better is the Wine Gang motto - their Christmas Wine Fair will aim to help you do just that. Come along to try a range of hundreds of wines from producers and retailers from across the UK.
Christmas Brewery Tour Tour of Sambrooks Brewery in Battersea, London - followed by beer and cheese tasting as well as a buffet meal. Booking enquiries call 0800 68 99 100.
